In a recent candid chat, Jayakrishna shared how the Sarileru Neekevvaru actor’s advice became his north star. “Mahesh garu told me to never let the industry’s noise drown out my own voice. He said, ‘Focus on your craft, not the cameras,’” recalled Jayakrishna, admitting the words hit hard for a star-kid carrying a legacy.

Born into Tollywood royalty as the grandson of legendary actor Krishna and son of producer Ramesh Babu, Jayakrishna could have easily relied on family connections. Instead, he spent months in rigorous training - dialect coaching, action choreography, and even a crash course in on-screen vulnerability. “Uncle Krishna always said, ‘Movies don’t make you a star; your hard work does.’ That stuck,” he added, crediting his family for grounding him before the big break.

The young actor also revealed that Mahesh Babu’s advice wasn’t just theoretical. “He once called me at 6 a.m. to check if I’d rehearsed a scene. That’s the discipline he practices,” Jayakrishna chuckled.
